Powell, 29, passed away Monday. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident of the Bordentown community. Shaun was employed by PRN Medical Transport of Burlington, and previously affiliated with Endeaver EMS also of Burlington. Shaun, a graduate of Burlington County Fire Academy, dedicated his life to his calling of fire and rescue services. He was a member of Hope Hose-Humane Co. No. 1 since 1994, as a volunteer firefighter/EMT. Shaun rose through the officer ranks as rescue lieutenant, EMS captain, and assistant chief of Emergency Services, chief of Emergency Services and chief of Bordentown City Fire Department. Shaun was also a first responder at Ground Zero on Sept. 11, 2001, and he also taught water rescue and Jaws of Life procedure. He currently was involved with teaching CPR classes to his community. Shaun was passionate about music, musical lyrics, hiking, travel, and spent hours with his hobby of Legos. He will be missed by his family and friends ...
